Slightly more than 4 full days of sailing in the glacial land of the Great Masurian Lakes, 30 of which are connected to each other by a system of channels forming the longest waterway in Poland. The Great Masurian Lakes are not only backwaters, lakes, rivers and canals among the oldest nature reserves in this part of Europe. There are also monuments and tourist attractions, such as the Teutonic castle in Ryn, Boyen fortress in Giżycko, and the forester's lodge in Gałczyński in Pranie. It is here in Popielin that the Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences is located, which takes care of the only herd of tarpan relatives living in the wild - Polish ponies. Finally, the Great Masurian Lakes are rich infrastructure of cities and towns, where numerous sailing events, concerts and shanty festivals take place. All this in a few days of voyage, mooring in marinas, sleeping at the best hotel resorts in the region.
